i have a house

so the first week of my great canadian adventure has come to an end... im so glad to be out of the hostel situation and into my own place... i found a nice little house around twenty minutes out of town with 5 other travelers... very cheap but still very comfortable...

i bought myself a snowboard and all the accessories... a little mini heater thats keeping my toasty and reminds me of the weather back home... my aussie flag is up and flying proudly...

today was spent running around the streets learning my way around town... and going rock climbing... it was raining for most of the afternoon and we needed to get out and about...
my arms are now wrecked but ill be sure to go back... love a little core strength exercise with out having to do too much work... apart from that im still planning to go up to vancouver mountains and try out my new equipment... ill let you know how this plans out...

first few days in vancouver

after a decent wait for my flight in taipai... i finally arrive in vancouver... had a beer and crashed almost instantly...
slept like a baby last night... all rugged up in the samesun nation hostel...
woke around 8 thinking it was 5... this cold has crept all the way through me...
so instead of running around working out jobs and phone cards and cameras and what not...
i decided to rent some ice skates and went to robson square ice rink... spent the whole day cruising around in circles on my bum listening to tool... i dare say ill be there tomorrow for a while as well...

as soon as i get off my bum ill throw some images up...
vancouver is just a beautiful city... i cant wait to see the rest of canada!
